The Fallot family has enjoyed a worldwide reputation for exceptional quality mustards, since 1840. The mustards are made in Beaune, France near Dijon, where seeds are selected for their high quality and then ground in a traditional stone mill. With 6% horseradish, Fallot's Horseradish Dijon mustard provides a bit of a punch! A delicious condiment for roast beef, it is also excellent blended in to potato salad, vinaigrettes or sauces for seafood.
Edmond Fallot is the last independent, family-owned mustard mill in Burgundy, France. Founded in 1840 in Beaune, near Dijon, and purchased by the Fallot family in 1928, it is now run by Marc Desarmenien, Edmond's grandson. They stone-grind their mustard seeds using traditional methods that preserve delicate flavors, and their Burgundy Mustard (Moutarde de Bourgogne) is the only IGP-certified mustard in existence, made exclusively with Burgundian seeds and AOC Burgundy wine. This is the kind of product that defines what The Ambrosian Pantry is about: exceptional quality from producers who refuse to compromise.
Pairs with: Sandwiches, vinaigrettes, marinades, roasted meats, or as a condiment for charcuterie.
