Making traditional French mustards since 1840, the Fallot family knows how to craft an exquisite artisanal condiment. Ensuring that the piquancy of the mustard does not overpower the delicate sweet flavors of the balsamic and honey, they carefully meld these flavors for a perfect balance so that none of the elements mask the others, rather the peppery and honeyed flavors complement one another to work in harmony. A creamy and nutty spread with piercing spicy flavors, this is an elegant addition to any meal. 7.2 oz.
Edmond Fallot is the last independent, family-owned mustard mill in Burgundy, France. Founded in 1840 in Beaune, near Dijon, and purchased by the Fallot family in 1928, it is now run by Marc Desarmenien, Edmond's grandson. They stone-grind their mustard seeds using traditional methods that preserve delicate flavors, and their Burgundy Mustard (Moutarde de Bourgogne) is the only IGP-certified mustard in existence, made exclusively with Burgundian seeds and AOC Burgundy wine. This is the kind of product that defines what The Ambrosian Pantry is about: exceptional quality from producers who refuse to compromise.
Pairs with: Sandwiches, vinaigrettes, marinades, roasted meats, or as a condiment for charcuterie.
Perfect for: Dijon mustard lovers, French cooking enthusiasts, and anyone who wants authentic Burgundian quality.
