Made from black and brown seeds mixed with verjuice, this mustard has extraordinary flavors and textures. Still made traditionally by grinding the seeds between stones and milling with traditional millstones, the original bite of the mustard seeds remains intact to achieve this brand's consistent quality and bite.
Edmond Fallot is the last independent, family-owned mustard mill in Burgundy, France. Founded in 1840 in Beaune, near Dijon, and purchased by the Fallot family in 1928, it is now run by Marc Desarmenien, Edmond's grandson. They stone-grind their mustard seeds using traditional methods that preserve delicate flavors, and their Burgundy Mustard (Moutarde de Bourgogne) is the only IGP-certified mustard in existence, made exclusively with Burgundian seeds and AOC Burgundy wine. This is the kind of product that defines what The Ambrosian Pantry is about: exceptional quality from producers who refuse to compromise.
Pairs with: Sandwiches, vinaigrettes, marinades, roasted meats, or as a condiment for charcuterie.
Perfect for: Dijon mustard lovers, French cooking enthusiasts, and anyone who wants authentic Burgundian quality. Find it at The Ambrosian Pantry, 263 Josephine St in Cherry Creek, Denver, alongside one of the most carefully curated pantry collections in the country.
