Cocktail Kingdom at The Ambrosian Pantry

Cocktail Kingdom was founded in 2008 by Greg Boehm during the early-aughts cocktail renaissance, when he noticed that bar professionals lacked access to the proper tools needed to hone their rapidly evolving craft. Boehm, whose family had been in publishing for three generations (his grandfather's company owned the North American rights to The Guinness Book of World Records), brought an obsessive attention to historical detail and design precision to the barware industry. He began by importing tools from Japan, then started manufacturing his own designs in collaboration with the world's best bartenders.

Today, Cocktail Kingdom is the world's premier manufacturer and distributor of professional barware. Their Yarai crystal mixing glasses, Leopold jiggers (named after Boehm's great-grandfather, who taught him to make a Manhattan at age six), and Koriko shaker tins are practically mandatory in any serious cocktail bar worldwide. Boehm also houses the largest known collection of antique cocktail books in the world (over 3,800 titles dating to 1676) at their Flatiron headquarters in New York, and owns several acclaimed bars including Katana Kitten (ranked 14th best bar in the world) and Existing Conditions.
