The Gianduiotto is a jewel of Piedmontese chocolate making, with its unique shape reminiscent of a small upturned boat. Venchi's version stays faithful to the original tradition: a minimum of 32% PGI Piedmont Hazelnuts from the Langhe blended into smooth milk chocolate. The hazelnut flavor is front and center, rich and toasty, and the texture is dense and satisfying.
Gianduia was born in Turin when 19th-century chocolatiers discovered that blending local hazelnuts with cocoa created something greater than either ingredient alone. Venchi's Gianduiotto 1878 recipe has been celebrated since the company's founding. Gluten-free. We chose to carry Venchi because their commitment to quality mirrors our own.
Tasting notes: Intense toasted hazelnut, smooth milk chocolate, and a dense, melt-on-the-tongue texture.
Pairs with: A macchiato, a glass of Asti Spumante, or alongside fresh pear.
Perfect for: Anyone who wants to taste the original Piedmontese chocolate tradition, Nutella lovers ready for the real thing.
