Gustarosso is the brand of the DaniCoop agricultural cooperative, a group of over 100 farmers dedicated to preserving the San Marzano variety. The tomatoes are grown in mineral rich soil near Mount Vesuvius and harvested by hand. The cooperative manages the entire supply chain from seed selection to canning to ensure traceability. This model protects the genetic integrity of the crop against industrial imitation. Each tomato is steam peeled and packed in its own juice to preserve freshness.
