Venchi questions

What is a gianduiotto?

A gianduiotto is a hazelnut chocolate that Venchi calls a great Italian classic. Venchi's own gianduiotti are made with 33 percent Piedmont hazelnuts.

What are Bronte pistachios?

They are pistachios grown around Bronte, a small village in eastern Sicily on the slopes of Mount Etna, an active volcano. Growers there harvest only every two years. Since 2010 the name Pistacchio Verde di Bronte has been a European Union protected designation of origin, labeled DOP in Italy, which requires every step of production to take place in that home region.
