MY DRAP

Cloth napkins on a tear-off roll, in cotton and linen, made in a family textile mill in Barcelona: that is MY DRAP. The napkins wash up to six times and are compostable.

About MY DRAP

Based in
Barcelona, Spain
Known for
cotton napkins on a tear-off roll

MY DRAP napkins are made in Barcelona at a textile factory owned and run by the Guasch family, who have worked in textiles for more than a century. The company also keeps offices in Montreal and New York.

The idea is simple: cloth napkins sold on a pre-perforated roll, so you tear off as many as you need. Each one can be washed up to six times, and the napkins are fully compostable when you are done with them.

MY DRAP questions

Can you wash MY DRAP napkins?

Yes. They are cloth, made from cotton or linen rather than paper, so they can go through the wash, and MY DRAP says each napkin holds up to six washes. When one is worn out, you can compost it instead, since MY DRAP says its napkins are 100% compostable.

What makes MY DRAP napkins different from paper ones?

They are cloth: cotton or linen fabric made in Barcelona, so they feel like a table napkin rather than tissue. What they borrow from paper is the format, a pre-perforated roll you tear one napkin from at a time, so there is no folded stack to unpack and you use only as many as you need.
