Ati Manel is a revived Portuguese conservas brand originally founded in 1922 by a man of the same name. The brand lay dormant for decades until great-grandson Luis Mendonca discovered a treasure trove of his ancestor's hidden recipes, design tools, supplier notes, and lithographic stones in a family basement. Inspired by what he found, Mendonca resurrected the brand, combining nostalgic mid-century aesthetics with contemporary interpretations of traditional Portuguese seafood preparations.

Each tin is sourced from the waters of Portugal and Galicia and prepared using the recovered family recipes, enhanced with signature spice blends that honor the brand's rich culinary history. The distinctive packaging, designed by Mendonca himself (a graphic designer by trade), features flat geometric marine icons in bright colors inspired by vintage Portuguese canning aesthetics. Every tin is a bridge between Portugal's proud preserving past and modern gourmet expectations.
