What is a non-alcoholic spirit?

A non-alcoholic spirit is a bottled drink made to take the place of gin, tequila or another liquor in a mixed drink, without the alcohol. ABV means alcohol by volume, and Aplós bottlings are 0% ABV. The flavor comes instead from botanicals, the plant ingredients such as citrus peel, herbs and spices that also flavor gin.

Can you drink Aplós on its own?

Yes. Aplós was designed to be served several ways: neat, meaning poured straight into a glass; on the rocks, over ice; topped with sparkling water as a spritz; or mixed into a cocktail in place of the base spirit. Start with it over ice to learn the flavor, then try it in a drink you already know.
