Alljoy Design questions
Where and how are Alljoy Design cards made?
Alljoy Design Ltd is based in Dublin, Ireland, where at least some of its pop-up cards are printed and made. Some designs are laser cut, meaning a focused laser beam cuts the shapes out of the paper.
What is a pop-up card?
A pop-up card is a folded card with cut paper shapes fixed inside, so that opening it pulls them upright into a small 3D scene. Closed, it lies flat enough to mail like an ordinary card. Some Alljoy designs leave space on the back of the card for a message, which keeps the scene inside clear.
