The Zero Point Five pinot noir is grown entirely in Germany’s most famous region for the grape, Baden. This part of southern Germany is perfectly suited for grape growing, with the most average sunshine and least rainfall in the whole country. Pinot noir has been grown here for centuries and Leitz is pleased to work with the co-op in the Kaiserstuhl region to source this authentic and distinctive wine. It is aged in cask and gently distilled to keep the varietal and regional character.

Leitz is a renowned German winemaker from the Rheingau region who also produces exceptional non-alcoholic wines using a gentle de-alcoholization process that preserves the character of the original wine. This is the kind of product that defines what The Ambrosian Pantry is about.
